The name "Nailah Wajidah" is deeply personal. Of Arabic origin, Nailah- means "“attainer" and “successful,” while Wajidah translates to “one who achieves her goals, loved, beloved, and successful.” Together, they form a powerful affirmation a promise of victory, love, and fulfillment.

In 2017, Latavia began a journey of self-discovery and transformation. A year later, seeking a name that reflected her vision and future after her conversion, she embraced Nailah Wajidah as her identity. first as a personal nickname, and later as the heartbeat of her brand.

As a single mother, she faced life’s challenges with unshakable grace, balancing hospital work, studies, and motherhood, while navigating financial struggles, housing instability, and personal hardships. Yet, she was always known for her flawless style and elegance, often turning heads and receiving compliments wherever she went. Fashion, for her, was never just about clothing, it was self-expression, dignity, and strength.

In 2019, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Latavia found herself admiring luxury handbags she could not afford. In that moment, the vision became clear: she would create her own. She began sketching designs, envisioning a brand that merged sophistication with meaning, and creating the first Nailah Wajidah® logo.

The journey was far from easy, years of economic and personal challenges slowed her progress. But in 2025, with renewed determination, Nailah Wajidah began designing her debut collection, transforming her dream into reality.
